Visualize the day
By Koralia Timotheou*
What is one thing we can do to add good vibes to the planet?
Active visualization:
a simple and powerful tool designed for winners. Try it!
Fast forward to the day…
…when I'm off to the coffee shop with a bunch of friends. The place is packed. Nobody minds. No one’s upset. We’ll just walk over to the next one. We might as well just grab a coffee on the go and hang around outside. It's a beautiful day anyway. We may go for a walk or something. You know what? We can do whatever we like!
People hug each other. Nobody holds back. Physical presence feels safe, right and good. We are now closer than ever. We have succeeded. We've made it! We have won. By caring together and keeping apart.
We have emerged stronger.
We pat people on the back. We all deserve it. We have done well. It’s time to celebrate.
We smile. The warmth spreads. It is contagious. It's easy.
We make eye contact. Pupils dilate. They ripple out love, light, care and affection.
Life: it’s beautiful and it resumes from where we left it. We are still here and we are part of it.
I can kiss my kids goodnight and it doesn't feel like a threat anymore.
I can offer my bare hands for a handshake and it’s not a deadly sin.
People can actually see my face - no mask required.
I can walk past people without holding my breath!
I have nothing to complain about.
I can only be grateful.
I can start caring for my friends again...in person.
I have grown and I have learned...
...how to be more understanding, for I have witnessed despair in people's eyes.
...how to appreciate everything, as nothing can be taken for granted.
...how to be endlessly forgiving, because at the end of the day, what the heck does it matter?
...how to share my feelings and thoughts, since so much may actually remain forever untold.
...how to listen, because so much more may go unheard.
It's getting late...
The coffee's gone cold.
But hey! Who cares?
We have all the time in the world...
